Image representing personal growth
It’s been a while. Been traveling, been studying, been meditating, Spending time with my family and friends, but haven’t been writing. And, just when you think it is safe, I’m back!

I continue to meditate and study with the intention of expansion, which is the reason I believe we exist. The whole purpose of meditation is to become more conscious with the unconscious self. It is like watering your garden and watching it develop and become more beautiful. As we expand our consciousness, we change our frequency, our energy becomes gentler, and we begin to live a life of immense freedom. It is through this expansion that we begin to listen to our bodies, to the whispers of our higher self-our soul. We begin to realize that life is only meant for Joy, Peace, Love and Freedom. When we learn to let go of our past reality we no longer need to control or manipulate our lives. The laws and rules we have been taught throughout our lives no longer serve us. This guidance comes from within us, never does the shift occur outside of ourselves. What we can’t see with our five senses is a force that is always guiding us, if we let it. If we are not able to hear the whispers, it may come in the form of loud thunder all for the intention of our alignment with ourselves. We all have our very own yellow brick road that leads to peace within that will expand to those around us. The healing of the world starts with each one of us and we begin to fully understand the importance of our growth.

As we work from within and develop this muscle of understanding, we let go of any past grievances. We realize it is all meant to help us in our journey, a path perfectly suited for our expansion. As this muscle becomes stronger our light begins to shine brighter, our days become easier, answers come more quickly. Our bodies begin to listen to our whispers within, we observe our old patterns and how we react to life’s circumstances. With this practice our reactions become more conscious, and we are more in control of how we feel. We realize that our environment is an extension of our mind.

Being still in meditation has become my sweet spot each day. In meditation I ask for a higher understanding of consciousness, for peace within myself and help in portraying the best example of myself. We all have our very own board of directors helping to steer us toward further expansion. We must ask and listen for the whispers, they are our own beautiful guides, angels or even loved ones, there to help us on our path to enlightenment. It is not for us to micromanage how what we ask for unfolds, but to trust that we are supported in the most beneficial ways to support our own individual expansion. As this muscle becomes stronger life becomes easier, we don’t have to control the outcomes, we must only have the right intention for our own growth and to let those around us grow in their own way without judgement.

I believe that each one of us can live a calm, peaceful and happy life a majority of the time if we work this muscle hard enough. We can become Olympic athletes as we become stronger and a better example to those in our lives. When a circumstance occurs that creates a familiar anxiety, I have realized that it or they are showing up for my spiritual practice. There is always a reason when we are triggered, and it is that reason that becomes our spiritual practice. When we see life from this perspective, fear begins to dissipate and only love and a fierce intention to expand more remain.

I will end with The Symptoms of Inner Peace:

☮️ A tendency to think and act spontaneously rather than on fears based on past experiences.

☮️ An unmistakable ability to enjoy each moment.

☮️ A loss of interest in judging other people.

☮️ A loss of interest in interpreting the actions of others.

☮️ A loss of interest in conflict.

☮️ A loss of the ability to worry.

☮️ Frequent, overwhelming episodes of appreciation.

☮️ Contented feeling of connectedness with others and nature.

     ☮️ Frequent attacks of smiling.

☮️ An increasing tendency to let things happen rather than make them happen.

☮️ An increased susceptibility to the love extended by others as well as the uncontrollable urge to extend it.
